'Very amusing post. Where I come from we usually just say, "Excuse me" and disappear to do our thing. Leave it up to your friends to figure it out. It would not be good etiguette to announce, "Excuse me, I have to fart", same with your other bodily functions.
Oh well, it is people like you who make the world fun and interesting!
